It’s a two day music festival. According to jawiki it’s the biggest outdoor music event in Kyūshū. Also know as “Haigura” (ハイグラ), it was first organized in 2003. It celebrate it’s 10th year anniversary this year. This year Scandal will perform in the first day (July 27).
Other artists so far announced include: Motohiro Hata (hp), Fujifabric (hp), Kazuyoshi Saitō (hp), Spitz(hp), Nico Touches the Walls (hp), Ryōta Fujimaki (hp), Color Bottle (hp) and Wacci (hp) for Day 1 (July 27) and A.F.R.O (hp), The Inazuma Sentai (hp), Sukima Switch (hp), Back Number (hp), Tortoise Matsumoto (hp), Naoto Inti Raymi (hp) and Flip (hp) for Day 2 (July 28).
Tickets cost ¥7000 for one day and ¥12,600 for both day.

Saturday Apr 4 @ 11:19amIf you will be in Japan on 23rd June this year (specifically Chiba prefecture), you might just be able to meet SCANDAL and many other celebrities at the MTV VMAJ 2012!
Starting from 20th April till 31st May, MTV Japan will be giving out a pair of free tickets to one lucky person every day to come enjoy this annual video awards show. All you have to do is go to their official Facebook page (HERE) and vote for the “Artist or celebrity you’ll most like to see at the VMAJ 2012”. The list includes the emcees, performing artists and guest celebrities, in which SCANDAL is also included.
Once you’ve chosen, check either the Facebook/Twitter/mixi box, as well as agree to the terms and conditions (→利用規約を確認し同意する). You will be prompt to post/tweet the following message and then you’ll have to fill out a form on your particulars (see 3rd image above). Once you’re done, you’re in the contest! And if get lucky, you just might get to see SCANDAL live in person.

SCANDAL’s “Harukaze” might have been in second place of AKB48’s “Give Me Five!” in CD ranking (as of feb 15) but when it comes to concert sales, the girls are in high gear.
SCANDAL’s general ticket sales that started last Feb 11 were sold-out in 15 minutes, Sony Music Japan reported. The four-member group is slated to perform for the first time at the prestigious Nippon Budokan. The concert is aptly titled: “Japan Title Match Live 2012: SCANDAL vs. BUDOKAN”.
The concert will happened on Mar 28th.
